| JKDF reviews progress of works in ward No 9 | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Sep 25:
Jammu & Kashmir Democratic Forum (JKDF) reviewed the progress of the development work in ward No 9, Ustad Mohalla and Narayana Mohalla.
Ambedkar Gupta apprised JKDF leader Anil Gupta about the problems being faced by the people in both the areas.
Anil Gupta took note of the problems of the people in the meeting regarding the replacement of old water supply pipes and drainage system which is non-functional. Removal of garbage by Jammu municipality in the locality is very poor which increases the foul smell and misquote in the locality.
While interacting with workers Anil Gupta made it clear to address the grievances of people and timely highlighting for the resolution of the same.
He said that he has apprised Prof Chaman Lal Gupta about the problems of the people and Prof Gupta has sanctioned Rs 10 Lac for the replacement of water supply pipes and repair of lanes.
In the meeting Anil Gupta also announced 10 sewing machines to poor and needy ladies.
Ambedkar on behalf of ward no 9 thanked Anil Gupta for taking initiative to resolve the minor and major issues related to masses and expresses faith in the young and dynamic leader.
