Security beefed up around Assembly complex | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Srinagar, Sept 25: Ahead of 9-day summer session of Jammu and Kashmir Assembly, security has been beefed up in the city to thwart any untoward incident, sources told KNS. They said close circuit televisions have been installed at several vital installations to keep track on the movement of the people moving in and around the Assembly complex. From Sunday itself additional paramilitary CRPF troopers and police personnel have been deployed at various places in the city leading to the Assembly, they added. “Police personnel in civvies have also been posted at several places to keep track on the movement of suspicious people,” police sources told KNS. SSP City, Syed Ashaq Hussain Bukhari told KNS that security around the Civil Secretariat, which also houses Assembly complex, has been beefed up. The Speaker Assembly, Mohammad Akbar Lone told KNS that all the arrangements are in place to run the session smoothly. “To run the session smoothly All Party meet was called,” he added.
