| Police held four in assault case | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
BHADERWAH, Sep 25:-Police today claimed to have arrested all accused except a teacher in an assault case on a widow and a girl at Haveli Mohalla, Bhaderwah yesterday.
According to reports the incident of attack on a widow and a girl happened at the time when they were constructing a bathroom in their own land sponsored by Urban Local Bodies but their next door neighbours namely Ali Asgar Khan, his daughters Shazada and Shazia, Javed Khan, a school teacher presently attached at ZEO Office Bhaderwah and Jaffar Hussain, son in law of Ali Asgar Khan, without any reason objected the construction and attacked the females in broad day light.
All of them fled from the spot leaving the injured in a pool of blood.
After receiving the information Bhaderwah Police lodged a FIR no 141/2011 under section 147, 504, 506, 323, 452 RPC and arrested all accused except a self styled Professor namely Javed Khan who is a school teacher is presently attached at ZEO office Bhaderwah and is still absconding.
Police said a man hunt has been launched to nab the accused who play a vital role to attack the widow and beaten her ruthlessly.
SHO Bhaderwah Surinder Rao said a communication /message has been sent to CEO Doda /ZEO Bhaderwah to present absconding teacher before the Police for necessary action who is habitual of harassing females.
