Kranti Dal submits memorandum to DGP, raises police jawans’ demands | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Sep 25:Kranti Dal submitted a memorandum to the Director General of Police (DGP) in order to raise the demands of Jammu & Kashmir Police jawans and their families who are facing a lot of problems in day to day life. A Memorandum submitted by President, Raj Roop Singh, accompanied by Pritam Sharma, Gen. Secy. Rajinder Bhagat, City President and Sh. Jagdish Sudan, City Gen Secy. Speaking on the occasion, Pritam Sharma said that Kranti Dal welcomes the Director General of Police (DGP) who lighted an "Immortal Jyoti" at Jammu first time in the history of Jammu & Kashmir Police for the honors of Jammu & Kashmir Police jawans (JKP) who have scarified their precious lives for the nation but also divert his attention towards the welfare of Jammu & Kashmir Police jawans and their families who are doing 24hours service but facing a lot of problems in their daily life. Sharma added that police is also a part of civil society but discrimination is doing with them and Kranti Dal will always fights for their right. The main demands and suggestions include enhancement of Ration allowance from Rs 600 to Rs 1500. Provision of travel allowance for official work, General Provident Fund (GPF) should be online for the knowledge of jawans. House Rent Allowance (HRA) should be increased from two and half days to four days.
