| Court frames corruption charges against Junior Engineers in trap case | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, September-25:- Special Judge Anti-corruption Jammu Pawan Dev Kotwal framed corruption charges against Parshotum Lal Sharma then posted as Junior Engineer in RDD Block Marh Jammu who was caught red-handed by the Vigilance Organization Team on January 20, 2011 while demanding and accepting an amount of Rs 6000/- as illegal gratification from the complainant Jagbandan Singh for preparation of payment bills. SVO has registered a case u/s 5(2) r/w 5(1) (d) PC Act 2006 and 161 RPC and caught the accused red-handed while accepting bribe and after completion of investigation presented challan in the Court and Court framed charges against Parshotum Lal Sharma then posted JE RDD Block March Jammu.
Court also framed corruption charges against another Junior Engineer Asif Ali then posted RDD Block Lohai Malhar Kathua who was caught red-handed by the SVO team on January 30, 2011 while accepting Rs 8000 as illegal gratification from complainant Mohd Ayub as illegal gratification for passing bill for the payment due to the complainant on account of construction of CIC Building at Malhar.
