| Associated chamber of federation hold meeting with Rather | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Sept 25: In an emergency meeting of associated chamber of federation held under the chairmanship of Yash pal Gupta all the associate bodies of the traders participated Yash Pal Gupta apprised the member about the deliberations held at Srinagar under the chairmanship of A.R. Rather finance minister with regard to the purposed new vat return forms. He told that the genuine concern of the trading community was conveyed mast effectively in the meeting and the finance minister was requested to defer the implementation of the said forms as they are very complicated cumbersome and likely to create great hardships to the business establishments most of which are running Single handedly and cannot afford the extra burden of accountant and computerized system. Member highly appreciated that the finance minister has shown deep concern and has been very considerate in taking the decision of deferring the new vat return forms.
On the call of finance minister for co-operation between the trading community and the authorities Yash Pal Gupta has assured on behalf of the trading community that they will never lack behind in extending full co-operation to the Government for achieving their targets Gupta has further announced in the said meeting that we represent the genuine and honest traders while wee denounce the un scrupulous elements who bring the bad name with their misdeeds.
The prominent amongst those who were present in the meeting are S. Attar Singh Chander Gulati, Neeraj Anand, Dinesh Gupta, Ajay Gupta, Dinesh Mahajan, O.P. Mahajan, Vijay Sraf, Vinod Mahajan, Sat Pal Jain and Vishwa Nath Raghuveer Gupta Kewal Gupta etc.
