Paintings, installations competition organised

JAMMU, Sep 25:The fourth on going inter-college/Departmental Display you Talent 2011-12 organised by the Department of Students Welfare University of Jammu witnessed think participation in both paintings and installations competition
Prof N K Triathi, Dean Students Welfare, Prof. Jasbir Singh, chairman, campus cultural committee applauded the talent of participants and distributed and prize among the winners.
In painting competition, Kulpreet Rana and Sahil Ohri from institute of music and fine Arts, Jammu bagged the first prize and third prize whereas Shikha Singh Govt. Women College, Gandhi, Jammu bagged the second prize
Ramesh kumar from Department of commerce, Anu chowdhary from Department of home-science, university of Jammu and Shiveni Anand from Govt. woman college, parade Jammu bagged the certificates of Merit.
The topics for the painting competition were life around you Environments Development and Art and Nature.
Eminent participants like N.D.Jamwal, Suman Gupta and Vijay Anand were the adjudicators for the said event.
In installation competition, Mehak Bakshi and Preeti Sharma from the Govt. Woman college parade bagged the first team prize whereas Arjun Manhas from the school of biotechnology, university of Jammu and Tarun Sharma from Govt. M.A.M. College Jammu bagged the second and third prizes, respectively.
The certificates of Merit were awarded to keitik Sethi and Smiley Gupta from the Law school, university of Jammu, Vandana Sharma from govt. Degree college, Reasi and Nirupama Sharma & Tania Chandra from govt. woman college Gandhi Nagar Jammu
The adjudicators for the installation event were Jagpal Sinag, Bandral Suman Gupta and Vikas Dogra.
Dr. Sanjay Sharma and Dr Sanjay Bhatia was the teacher-in-charge for the painting and installation competition respectively the programme was conducted by Rani Kumari, Secretary Students Cultural council.
