PNBNT urges govt. to introduce Kashmiri Hindu Shrines Bill in upcoming session | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Sept 25: Prem Nath Bhat Memorial Trust(PNBMT), following the ideals of Amar Shaeed Pandit Prem Nath Bhat, to work for social reforms among and place of pride for the Kashmiri Pandit community, has made a passionate appeal to the state govt. to introduce the Kashmiri Hindu Shrines,. Temples and Religious Places (Management and Regulation) Bill in the autumn session of the state legislature, commencing tomorrow It has also appealed to legislators belonging to all the political parties and independent members to strongly support the bill and get it passed in this session. Addressing a media conference here today, the spokespersons of the trust asserted that the passage of this bill will be a biggest confidence measure, for the migrant Kashmiri Pandit community, encouraging them to return to the homeland and settle there with a sense of dignity and, security. The media was addressed jointly by Dr AN Pandita, President PNBM Trust, and BL Saraf Retd Distt and Session Judge and Dr. RL Bhat, a prominent intellectual They told that a meeting of the heads and representatives of all the KP community organizations, opinion makers, intellectuals, social and political activists, held on April 14 this year, had unanimously assigned the task to Pandit Prem Nath Bhat J'v1emorial Trust to act as the nodle body for spearheading the movement for getting this bill passed at the earliest. Accordingly the trust has chalked out an action plan to achieve the objective. It has organized sever meetings of the representatives of all the community organizations and the intelligentsia, to mobilize the opinion for the cause
