5 teachers deputed permanently to J&K Scouts and Guides in Kishtwar school
Allegations of violation of norms galore

KISHTWAR, Sept 25: In complete violation of norms, Chief Education Officer (CEO) allegedly deputed five government teachers for establishment of district unit of Jammu and Kashmir Scouts and Guides.
Sources said that the deputation order has been issued vide order no: CEO/K/11/Scouts/8245-52 Dated 15-09-2011 issued by Chief Education Officer Kishtwar. As per this order, five government teachers namely Akhtar Hussain Giri posted at UPS Dramwagan, Tanveer Ahmed Malik posted at Middle School Kawar, Sanjay Parihar posted at Middle School Chewar, Amrish Parihar posted at High School Nagbatna and Pardeep Koul posted at Higher Secondary School Boys Kishtwar.
Order of CEO Kishtwar reads that as per the intimation by Commissioner Secretary Education Government of Jammu and Kashmir vide order No: Edu/PS/Sec/11/2010, Chief Commissioner J & K Scouts and Guides vide his No: S&G/2011 dated 10-08-2011 and Director School Education Jammu vide his No:DSEJ/Gen/8853-54 dated 13-09-2011, a unit of J & K Scouts and Guides District Kishtwar is being established for ensuring conducts of all programs in future to inculcate the spirit of brotherhood among the youths, beside creating awareness about environment, preservation of Biodiversity and eradication of Social Evils.
Order further directs concerned Principal/ZEO/Headmasters to spare the services of all 5 government teachers within two days for onward submission to the concerned higher authorities. All the five teachers are presently working for Scouts and Guides since last couple of weeks whereas the students suffer.
When contacted, Commissioner/Secretary Education Naseema Lankar refused to comment. "I don't remember anything at this time. Today is Sunday and I don't want to comment over the issue without having any knowledge about the facts," said Naseema Lankar.
