J&K Bank organizes customer meet in Poonch

JAMMU, Sept 26: Jammu and Kashmir Bank today organized a ‘Customer Meet’ in the premises of B/U Poonch. The meeting was attended by a cross section of society comprising of senior citizens, businessmen, social activists, government employees, members of the Chamber, students and other valuable customers.
R.K.Chhibber Zonal Head Jammu (West) presided over the meeting. While interacting with customers, he gave a detailed account of the various tailor-made schemes of the bank suitable for different sections of the society. He urged people to avail those schemes for their social and economic empowerment.
He said, “Especially, youth must come forward and avail the benefits of various Govt. sponsored schemes especially Sher-i-Kashmir Employment and Welfare Scheme for youth (SKEWPY).” Participants came up with some suggestions which were received positively. They also demanded installation of 4 ATMs around Poonch city besides air conditioning of the premises.
Ghulam Jeelani Shah Cluster Head Poonch was also present on the occasion. Branch Head BU Poonch H.D.S Sambyal thanked the participants for their valuable suggestions.
Meanwhile, J&K Bank pressed one more ATM into public service at Brein, Nishat taking the total number of ATMs in Kashmir (Central) zone to 132 and in the valley to 250.
Zonal Head Kashmir (Central) Bashir Ahmad Lone inaugurated the ATM amid a good gathering of valuable customers, senior citizens and local residents. It is an on-site ATM, which means within the premises of B/U Brein.
Speaking on the occasion, he said, “J&K Bank is not an organisation but a movement towards financial empowerment of the people of this state. Mass banking is one of the reflections of our organizational commitment to serve our people.”
And we shall continue to provide world class banking services and facilities to our customers, he added. He also informed the gathering that 15 more ATMs would soon be opened for public service in the central zone.
