| IMFAA appeals VC to start music course in JU | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Sept 26: Institute of Music and Fine Arts Alumni appealed to Vice Chancellor of Central University to start the course of music in central university, here today.
In the press statement president IMFAA Ashwani Sharma said that it will be proved a great platform for the artists as well as students of entire country and specially Jammu region which produces great maestros like Pt Shiv Kumar Sharma, Ustad Allah Rakha Khan, K L Saigal, Malika Pukhraj, Pt Vachaspati Sharma and so many at international level.
He further appealed to a great warrior good administrator and visionary VC Dr. S.S. Beloria to Faculty of Music in Central University.
“It will produce fruitful result at Global level for spreading peace and motivate youth for promotion of culture, which is the great need of time and it will binds people with their roots” Sharma added.
