DPN hails Rahul Gandhi’s visit to JK

JAMMU, Sep 26:Jammu & Kashmir Democratic Party Nationalist an associate of Congress in J&K, has hailed the two days visit of Congress General Sectary and Incharge of the youth wing of the party, to the state.
A meeting of the youth wing of DPN, held here today under the chairmanship of Tajinder Singh Advocate, General Sectary of the party observed that the visit of the young Rahul Gandhi to Kashmir valley, to build close rapport with the alienated youth in the valley augurs well for removing the alienation of the youth and bringing them to the national mainstream. Tajinder Singh remarked that Rahul Gandhi is an icon not only for the youth belonging to the Congress party, but also to the youth in general all over the country, who see in him the prosperous and progressive India, with full empowerment of young population in the country.
The meeting appeals to all shades of opinion in J&K to come forward. for the bright future of the youth. It emphasized that the country which has a very large number of young population, will be safe in the hands of young leaders, who are liberated and do not entertain caste, community and gender prejudices. The participants in the meeting said that they are waiting eagerly for the visit of young Rahul Gandhi to Jammu, where he will be warmly welcomed by the youth in general.
S Tajinder Singh sharply criticized hard line separatist leader Sayeed Ali Shah Geelani for spreading misinformation about the purpose of visit of Rahul Gandhi and giving the call to the youth to not accord him welcome, but boycott his programmes in the valley.
