| MAM College organises lecture on career in army | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Sep 26:NCC wing of the Government MAM College organized an Extension Lecture on 'Career in Army' in collaboration with the Career Counselling, Placement and Information Centre of the college.
Captain Heemanshu Yadav was the resource person who was given Guard of Honour on reaching the college at its main gate.
Captain Yadav presented a detailed lecture on benefits of joining Armed Forces and called upon students to join Armed Forces and do a lot for their motherland. He gave a power point presentation showing life in Army, its action, Sacrifice, Professional growth, Adventure etc. and discussed in detail the procedure of joining the Army as an Officer and also how the NCC cadets are given the preference in the recruitments. All the cadets present at the function gave a patient hearing to Captain Yadav.
The presentation was followed by an Interactive session.
Dr Ajeet Angral, Principal of the college in his address stressed upon the cadets to come forward for attending such type of lectures associated with their careers.
He also advised the cadets to work hard under the leadership of Prof. Savita Jamwal and Prof. Joginder Singh, the NCC officers of the college and both boys and girls should join Army as India needs young officers.
