JKATA holds protest, demands regularisation in batch wise manner | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Sep 26:Jammu Kashmir Agriculture Technocrats Association held a day long protest at Press Club here today to press for their regularization in government services. Hundreds of Technocrats gathered at Press Club and raised their demands before the State Government, which has announced an unacceptable regularization policy for the Agri-technocrats announced through a cabinet decision on August 4. While speaking to the media, Dr. Surinder Radotra President of the Association disclosed that we have met with Minister for Agriculture Ghulam Hassan Mir, Minister for Revenue Raman Bhalla, Minister of State for Planning and Finance Dr Manohar Lal Sharma and Principal Secretary APD Iqbal Khandey and cleared then that the policy declared by the State Govt regarding regularization of Rebher¬E-Zirat is an injustice with the technocrats as the regularization on merit wise manner is a lengthy process. Radotra demanded regularization in batch wise manner on the pattern of Rehbar-e-Talim (after completion of five years of service). Association put demand for the basic salary for the remaining technocrats as it is impossible to make both ends meet in Rs 3000 per month.
