| MAM College holds symposium on blood donation | | |  EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Sep 26:-The Gandhian Studies Centre of the College organized an intra-college Symposium competition on ‘Blood Donation, Great Donation’.
Dr. T.R.Raina, HoD Blood Bank, Govt. Medical College, Jammu presided over the programme. He appreciated the efforts of the Gandhian Studies Centre for conducting such an innovative programme on a very relevant topic and also enlightened the student volunteers with pertinent facts about blood donation. He exhorted upon them to come forward for this noble cause.
Dr. Ajeet Angral, Principal of the college in his inaugural address lauded the efforts of the Gandhian Studies Centre for conducting such awareness programmes which have a universal message towards mankind. He impressed upon the student fraternity to work dedicatedly for such a human cause and also to march forward for blood donation. Dr. Twinkle Suri, Director of the Centre gave a brief profile of the activities of the Centre and stressed on the inculcation of moral values for a healthy civilization. Dr. Vijay Sawhney, Associate Professor, GMC, Prof. Rama Badyal and Prof. Banpreet Kour were judges for the competition. Anshul Gupta, Sahil Mehta and Sanchit Verma bagged the first, second and third prizes respectively.
