ASKPC held meet, discussed hardships being faced by migrants | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, September 27: In an extra ordinary meeting of all state Kashmiri Pandit conference (ASKPC) held today under the chairmanship of its president Pt. A.N Vaishavi discussed hardships being faced by the migrants in Jagti township. Addressing the meeting H L Chatta General Secretary of the organization, urged the revenue minister to get provide water, electricity, transport and drainage system checked and renovated so that the migrants living in Jagti township may not face any difficulty in this behalf and the township is looking like a model city . In the meeting R. K Raina vice president of the failure in implementing High Court decision regarding HRA/CCA M K Kashkari demanded and appealed all MLAS to pass temple bill pending with the Government so that all religious places of Hindus in the valley with its other properties are protected. He also lambasted the administration for its failure in tracing out the idol of Ganpati ji at Lagama, which was stole from a temple there in the meeting M K Sher demanded increase of monthly relief upto Rs.15000/- Per family Ravi Raina demanded grant of one time stipend of Rs. 25 lacs per migrant youth who has attained the age of 40 years and is sitting Jobless so that he is able to run has own Establishment speaking in the meeting B L Handoo pointed out that ex-gratia of temples and Dharamshallas are lying with the Government which should be released by the Government for its repairs/renovations without any delay. At the conclusion of the meeting Pt A N Vaishnavi said that some vested interests are spreading false rumors about return of KPS to the Valley. Among those who also spoke in the meeting include D. N Kissu, P L Sudeshi, Bharart Bushan Bhat and Phoolan Kaul.
