| Court rejects bail of liquor `smuggler’ | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, September-27 (JNF):- Judicial Magistrate Akhnoor Pawan Kumar Sharma today rejected the bail application of Rajbir Singh s/o Teja Singh r/o Jadh Tehsil Akhnoor who was carrying 94 pouches of desi Liquor.
While rejecting the bail application Court after hearing Prosecuting Officer Dubey observed that accused was involved in the offence under Excise Act in which punishment is up to seven years and also record reveals that petitioner was already involved in four other similar cases and petitioner habitual and court observed that habitual offender needs to be kept separate from society. With these observations Court rejected bail application. JNF
