| 10 days basic course concludes | | |
JAMMU | DEC 6 A 10 day basic course of Bharat Scouts and Guides on teacher and pupil relationship conclude here today. The course was attended by 87 scouts and guides who had come from Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Haryana, Punjab, Bihar and Orrisa beside Jammu and Kashmir. The participating scouts and guides interacted with each other during the course and urged such programmes should be held regularly. The commissioner J&K Bharat Scouts and guides, I.D Soni while talking to ‘Early Times’, said across the globe in 160 countries scouts and guides centers have been established. Over country (India) has strength of 40 lakhs of scouts and guides, he said, and added joining the scouts and guides he person make balance development in all sphere. He said after going for ten days basic course here, 87 scouts become scout masters and 13 guides become guide captain. A colourful cultural programme was organized by the scouts and guides which was attended by President J&K Bharat Scout and Guides, Devinder Singh Rana who was the chief guest and Principal, Sanskrit Vidyapeeth, Prof. Vishwa Murti and others.
