Bhaderwah locals complain of lack of essential commodities | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Bhaderwah, Sept 27: The locals of the Bhaderwah tehsil of Doda districts have complained of lack of essential commodities from the last two months . “We are lacking all the essential commodities like rice, cooking gas and kerosene,” said Abdul Kabir Malik a local of the town . People complained that ration stores remain closed most of the time. “The stores remain open occasionally as a result there is lot of rush for ration. People have to wait in a long queue for whole day. Poor people lose one day work while waiting for their turn at ration depot,” said another citizen Raiz Ahmed Khan . Besides ration, locals in Khakhal and Masjid Mohalla complain of shortage of cooking gas also. “There is no delivery of cooking gas in our area and stores do not get any supply from the concerned department,” said Koshal Dogra a local leader .The locals at Bhalla ,Pranoo and Athkar also complained of shortage of cooking gas and ration. Admitting that there was shortage of cooking gas and K Oil , Assistant Director Food Doda said the supply would be made available in few days. “I will personally look into the matter as we have a meeting with our deputy commissioner to address the problems,” said he.
