| Civil, Army liaison meeting organized by 4 RR Bihar | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Bhaderwah, Sept 27: Civil and army liaison meeting was organized by 4 RR BIHAR at Dak Bunglow Bhaderwah here today.
Besides the Army and civil officers, the prominent citizens from surrounding villages also participated in the meeting.
The meeting was chaired by Commanding Officer 4 RR Col . Yudvir Singh Sakhi .
It among others was attended by 2 IC and all operational majors and doctors of army. The people present in the meet highlighted their problems and appealed Army to take an initiative in solving the problems of drinking water scarcity and power crisis in the surrounding villages under Operation Sadhbavna and also demanded organizing of free medical camp in the heart of Bhaderwah town.
Addressing the meeting, Col Yudvir Singh Sakai sought people cooperation and said that Army will provide free training under Rozgar Yojna to local youth so that they can earn their livelihood.
He asked the people to come forward and take benefit of various self employment schemes.
He also announced that Army will start a training course in driving for the unemployed youth of the area.
The people also demanded that recruitment of the local youth in the Army be done in Bhaderwah itself.
CO assured that all steps will be taken in this regard. Prominent citizens who spoke on the occasion included Ch Mohd Iqbal JKNPP , Masth Nath Yogi JDS president , Raiz Ahmed Khan social worker , Deyia Krishan Kotwal BJP ,and assured full cooperation by civilians to Army and hailed its role.
