Bhaderwah, Sept 27: Contrary to the claims of Power Development Department that the power scenario in Bhaderwah and other major area has improved with an improvement in weather conditions, erratic power supply in city continues to irk consumers even in the metered areas.
For past few days, most parts of the area and villages are reeling under power cuts and even the frequent unscheduled power cuts have become order of the day in metered areas of the city.

“Power cuts happen almost every day and at times electricity goes off for hours. For past over three months of winter, power scenario has remained grim and we were expecting that with the improvement in weather conditions, power supply would also improve but so far it is worsening further,” said a shopkeeper.
