| Deputation of DE degree holders calls on Guv | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
SRINAGAR, Sep 27: A deputation of those who had pursued their education through the Distance Education mode, from various Universities outside the State, called on N N Vohra, Governor, at Raj Bhavan here last evening and submitted to him a Memorandum of their demands.
The demands presented to the Governor by the deputation, led by Imtiaz Ahmad Bhat, included, interalia, recognition of their Degrees, for the purpose of securing employment in the State.
The Governor gave a patient hearing to the deputationists and said that he would address the Minister for Higher Education in regard to the difficulties faced by them.
R K Goyal, Principal Secretary to the Governor was present on the occasion.
