| Tarigami demands discussion on NHPC | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Srinagar, Sept 27: State Secretary of CPI (M) and MLA Kulgam has requested the Speaker Assembly Mohammad Akbar Lone to list a short duration discussion regarding the losses suffered by the J&K State due to handing over of major power projects to NHPC for execution in the current session.
“An issue of vital public interest is being debated in different forums regarding the losses suffered by the J&K State due to handing over of major power projects to NHPC for execution. Keeping in view the concerns of our people, I request for listing this issue for debate in the current session under the provisions of Short Duration Discussion,” Tarigami wrote to the Speaker.
