| Transportation of bovines prohibited in Reasi | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
REASI, Sep 27:Additional District Magistrate, Reasi, Sukhdev Singh Samyal, in exercise of powers vested upon him under Section 144 Cr PC, has prohibited the transportation of bovine animals such as cow, ox, buffaloes and bull etc. from within the limits of Reasi district to any place.
The bovine animals may be transported from within the limits of Reasi district to any place outside under a written authority of District Magistrate, Reasi, which will be issued on production of a certificate issued by a qualified Veterinary doctor. The mode of transport, timing of move, number of animals to be carried etc. shall be governed as per the conditions prescribed under permit.
This order shall come into force with immediate effect and shall remain in force for a period of two months unless rescinded earlier. This order shall not apply in case of government agencies that take the cattle for departmental purpose. Gupta meets
