| MLC Gupta calls on Health Minister | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
KATHUA, Sep 27:-A deputation, led by MLC Subash Gupta, met Minister for Health, Horticulture and Floriculture Sham Lal Sharma and apprised him about the problems of Tehsil Hiranagar.
Gupta discussed the slow pace of work of Community Park at Hiranagar because of lack of funds. He disclosed that boundary wall work of the park was incomplete because of non receipt of funds to PWD which is executing agency for the work. He also added that due to delay in the completion of park people are facing problems. The Minister assured Rs 10 lakh would be released to the executing agency PWD to ensure early completion of the work.
Subash Gupta also apprised the Minister about the status of the ambulance sanctioned under border area development programme which is falls short of equipments. He also demanded up gradation of X-ray machine in the sub District hospital Hiranagar.
