| Public Information Campaign at Udhampur from Oct 1 | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
UDHAMPUR, Sep 27-To finalize the arrangements for holding 3-day Public Information Campaign, to be organized by the Press Information Bureau (PIB), Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (GOI) in district Udhampur, the District Development Commissioner, Udhampur, Baseer Ahmed Khan convened a meeting with district heads of various departments, here today.
Additional District Development Commissioner, R. R Sharma, Deputy Director, Field Publicity (GOI), Jammu, VK Magotra, Joint Director Planning, Rakesh Jamwal and officers of various departments attended the meeting. During the meeting the DDC reviewed all the arrangements to be made by different departments for the successful conduct of the Public Information Campaign to be organized at Mini Stadium Udhampur from October 1. He instructed the District officers to submit detail of various schemes of their respective departments so that same could be displayed during the campaign.
He also reviewed the detailed plan of pre publicity campaign to be conducted by Field Publicity Department (GOI) from September 29.
The Dy Director, Field Publicity, Jammu revealed in the meeting that other media units of Information & Broadcasting Ministry viz Directorate of Field Publicity, DAVP, Song and Drama Division, All India Radio and Doordarshan, besides various state government departments would also be involved in the campaign.
