| Special summary revision of electoral rolls | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
UDHAMPUR, Sep 27:Summary Revision of electoral Rolls would be conducted from January 1, 2012 in the Udhampur district.
As per the District Election Officer, Udhampur the people of district can seek necessary additions, deletions and corrections of their names in the electoral rolls. The date of draft publication of rolls has been fixed on October 1, filling of claims and objections would last from October 1 to November 1. Likewise the date of reading of relevant part/section of photo electoral rolls in Gram Sabha/local bodies and RWA meeting etc. and verification of names would be held on October 8 and October 11. On October 9, October 16 and October 23 has been fixed for Special campaign with Booth level Agents of political parties for receiving claims and objections. Moreover, the date of disposal of claims and objections would be scheduled on December 1 and updating the database, merging of photographs, updating the control tables and preparation and printing of supplementary list has been set from December 1 to December 31 where as the final publication of electoral rolls would be conducted on January 5.
