| Debate Competition organized under ‘Display Your Talent’ | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, September 27: On going Inter-Collegiate/Departmental “Display Your Talent” 2011-12 at Brig. Rajinder Singh Auditorium commenced with Debate Competition.
The Topic of the debate was In the opinion of the House, “Decline in the Character of Masses, Breeds Corruption”. The participants voted against the motion.
Zain-ul-Abdeen Bandey from Department of Political Science, University of Jammu bagged the First Prize whereas Aashima Puri and Abhinandan Singh from Govt. College of Engineering and Technology, Jammu, bagged the Second and Third Prize. Respectively
The Certificates of Merit were awarded to Rakshit Sharma from GGM Science College, Jammu, Apoorva Jamwal from Govt. Women College, Parade and Polina Singh Kala from Govt. Women College, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu.
Jagdish Chander, Professor M L Sharma and M A Alnasir, were the adjudicators for the said event.
Professor Neeru Sharma, Co-Chairperson, Campus Cultural Committee, was the Chief Guest for this event and distributed the prizes amongst the winners.
Dr. Vishvaraksha was the Teacher-in-charge for the said event and made the participants conversant with the Rules and Regulation.
The programme was conducted by Rani Kumari, Secretary Students Cultural Council and Mukesh Kumar whereas Kulbushan Thakur and Joginder Singh acted as time keeper.
Among others Professor Jasbir Singh, Chairman, Campus Cultural Committee in presence of Professor N K Tripathi, Dean Students Welfare, and Dr. Anupama Vohra, Vijay Atri, Vinay Thusoo.
