Narendra Modi clears his position by refusing “ Cap Drama” | | SHAFIQ MIR | 9/27/2011 10:51:19 PM |
| Some one urdu poet has nicely said “ Dou rangi chor dey , yek rang ho ja ....sara ser moum ya phir sang ho ja” ( means not to pose in double face . Either to melt completely or to become like a stone ). I think Narendra Modi chief minister of Gujraat has cleared his position on September 19, 2011 when an opportunist Moulvi ( Moulana) tried to put a cap over his head with an intention to black mail him in the name of Muslims . But Modi refused to wear this cap and sent a signal that he is religiously fully a non Muslim and he doesn’t want to do this drama for the sake of votes. As per reports , on 19 September one Moulana Syed Mehndi Hassan appeared on dais at Ahmedabad where Modi was performing his three days fast drama for brotherhood among different communities of the country , the said lesser known Moulana tried to wear him a cap as a token of gift from Muslims but he refused to wear it with out caring the consequences . I don’t think there is any scope of controversy in it because Modi did what he was supposed to being leader of a particular community . And by refusing to wear this cap he has again cleared his position that he was a pure Hindu leader and can not compromise on his principals for the sake of votes . The observers is of the opinion that by playing down this cap scam drama , Narendra Modi has won those who follow him only because of his clear stand and his anti Muslim mentality . If he would have been trapped in the cap scam , despite that there were very less chances for him to win any Muslim, but he had a risk of annoying those who see him as only hope of Hinduta agenda . His stand on the cap scam has made him more powerful among the constituency he represents . Even Raj Thakery , chief of MNS while commenting on the cap drama said that Modi has saved his image by refusing the cap among those who love him and follow him .
Instead , the congress leaders in India have always been playing this cap drama for decades to pose as only friends of Muslims in the country . Particularly, this drama is staged and displayed during the month of Ramzaan ( Fasting ) when Congress leaders of the country organize ifttaar parties and receive their Muslims guests in complete traditional Muslim dresses like caps and etc. Not only Congress leaders , even the leaders of other political parties were also seen at different occasions sharing some of the religious things of the opposite faiths just for the sake of vote banks . For instance , we have an example of former Jammu Kashmir chief minister and current union minister , Farooq Abdulah who can be seen in any religious function of India where ever he feels that it can help him to remain in power . He was always criticized for his such activities in the Muslim dominated areas but he never cared . With the result , Farooq lost his Muslim constituency instead of luring others . I don’t think any thing wrong if some one is strict to his religion, because none of the religion of the world teaches any thing against the humanity . The main problem in the present world is not due to the religious people but due to those who have been taught partial religion or not at all . Being a follower of islamm , i think my religion has full life rights for all human beings of the world . Even my reliogion has also included the rights of animals and my duty towards them in the islamic law. In Islamic philosophy , the people posing in different faces have been called as “ Munafiq” . The prophet Mohammad( PBH) has declared “ Munafiq” as worst and dangerous person in Muslim society and said that he will never be spared by god almighty . In my opinion , the Muslims of India have no threat from the people like Modi and those who belong to his sister organizations, the Muslims of the country should closely watch those who are in their ranks wearing caps and organizing ifftaar parties for them .
