JWAM holds protest against China

JAMMU, Sept 27: The activists of Jammu West Assembly Movement (JWAM) today held protest demonstration against terrorism, Chinese incursion and failure of the central government to effectively deal with the threat.
the autonomy and self rule demand by National Conference and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).


Addressing the gathering, president JWAM, Sunil Dimple alleged that UPA government is following weak policies against the China, which has in recent years encroached upon the Indian territory.


Dimple also opposed any move to grant clemency to the Parliament attack accused Afzal Guru and said that any resolution in the Legislative Assembly should be opposed. Dimple appealed Gandhi and all the political parties to out rightly reject the resolution seeking clemency for Guru.


He cautioned Rahul Gandhi and the UPA Govt that Pakistan and China cannot be trusted, as both the countries has “back stabbed” India in past few decades, by encroaching upon the Indian territory. He demanded that Central Govt should take effective measures against repeated incursions in the country.
Dimple appealed Gandhi and the Congress party for the rotational Chief Minister in the state to stop discrimination with the Jammu region which is going on for last six decades.


Among others who participated in the protest were Rajinder Verma, Shyam Saroop Gupta, Vivek Sharma, Ramesh Chander Kohli, B L Sawhney, Kasturi lal Dogra, Sahil Kumar, Kulwant Sharma, Ashok Agarwal and Vinay Kumar.
