| RR distributes bicycles among orphan students | | |

Continuing its people friendly gesture, the 11 RR distributed 26 bicycles among orphan and poor students of two government schools in the district at a function held at Police Lines here today.
Brig 10 RR was the chief guest while CO of the company presided over the function.
Out of 26 bicycles, 16 were distributed among the deserving students of Government Higher Secondary Boys Doda and the remaining 10 among students of Government High School Bagwah.
Underlining the importance of education, the Brig assured, the people and the students present on the occasion, that Army is always at their beck and call and would provide all possible help to the students in near future also to enable them to pursue their studies without any let or hindrance.
Appreciating Army’s gesture, the locals expressed the hope that students of other far- flung areas, who are in dire need of this facility, would also be accommodated under the scheme and assured all help to maintain peace and communal amity in the hilly district.
