| APS wins national quiz competition | | |
Udhampur Dec –06
Army Public School (APS) Udhampur won the national quiz competition, held in Army Public School Dhaulakuan, New Delhi under the aegis of AWES on November 30 last. Six schools representing the six commands including the elite Army educational institutions like Army School Pune, Lukhnow, Bengdubi, Bikaner and Ratnuchak took part in the competition.
The quiz was conducted by Barry O’Brien, the quizmaster of national repute and sponsored by Oxford University Press.
Parul Gupta, Mandavi Magotra and Yogesh Goyal winners from Udhampur School were awarded trophy and a cheque of Rs.15000.
The Army Public School Udhampur also bagged third position in AWES National Debate Competition held at A.P.S. Noida on December 1. Nakul Sharma, Parul Gupta, Ankita Ghosh won cash award of Rs. 3000.
The Principal of A.P.S. Udhampur R.K Vohra, elated with the latest achievements of the school called it “A Golden Moment” in the 27- year history of the school and congratulated the boys for bringing laurels to the school.
