| Tanzeel elected as president GCW Parade | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Sept28:Election of the Student Parliament was held in Govt. College for Women, Parade Ground, on Wednesday. Principal of the College, Prof. Dr. Kiran Bakshi was present to grace the occasion. HODs of various Departments and all the members of Students’ Welfare Committee were also present. The election procedure was conducted by Prof.Meenu Mahajan, Dean Students Welfare Committee. Following students were elected for following posts.
Tanzeel elected as President, Riya Gupta Vice- President, Sanjana Manchanda General Secretary, Vani Joint Secretary, Anoushka Convener, Suvidha Jamwal co-convener, Bisat
Treasurer, Saransha Co-ordinator and Shivali Mehra as volunteer head.
For the first time the Student Volunteers were given the name of “Right Arm Group” and Shivali Mehra, as the leader of this group, was nominated by the Students’ Welfare Committee of the college.
