Dharna being staged by Home Guards enters day 3 | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Sept 26: Dharna of All Jammu and Kashmir Home Guards Welfare Association today entered third day wherein protestors shouted slogans against the state government. Led by Kamla Sharma President of the association, Home Guard reiterated demand for regularization and stated that they should be paid salary at par with Punjab Home Guards or rest of India home guards. Sharma said that Congress General Secretary should come forward to meet the actual sufferers who have been sitting on Dharna for the last five years at Mubarak Mandi Complex and suffering every day. Inder Mohinder Tar Singh President Janta Dal (United) raised the point that excess of everything is bad as it is commonly said, so keeping the same in mind, state government should realize and immediately regularize the home guards and those who have retired should get all benefits including pension. Prominent among others who participated in the Dharna included Inder Mohinder Tar Singh (President Janta Dal United), Partap Singh (President Panthers Student Union), Satya Paull Saini (Gen. Secretary E.P Tenants Welfare Society), Daljeet Singh (Vice-President Panthers Party), Raj Kumar, Kewal Sharma (both Social workers), Mohd Iqbal, Santosh Kumari, Shakuntla Devi, Bimla Devi, Sakeena, Rakesh Kumar, Sayeed, Naresh, Pawan, Anil, Krishan and Javed.
