| Air Marshal visits 39-wing at Udhampur | | |

Accompanied by his wife Priya Singh, GOC in C, Air Marshal AK Singh made a visit to the 39-wing air force station Udhampur today to take a review a review about the preparedness of wing in tackling any natural and unnatural calamities. AOC J&K Air Vice Marshal Anil Chopra and Station Commander Group Captain G Amar Babu were also present on the occasion.
It is to mention here that 39- wing of air force has played a very significant role in the rescue and rehabilitation of people victimized by Tsunami and earthquakes.
Being convinced with the preparedness of the wing GOC in C appreciated its efforts in the service of nation and mankind.
Meanwhile Priya Singh took an appraisal of activities of AFWWA (Air Force Women Welfare Association) and stressed upon the wives of Air Force men to be the strength of their husbands to strengthen the force.
She along with Narmada Babu and Suman Chopra also visited the ISCON temple where she performed religious rites and distributed prasad.
