JKNPP urges Guv to dissolve Assembly

JAMMU, Sep 29:Jammu Kashmir National Panthers Party (JKNPP) urged the Governor NN Vohra to dismiss the NC-Congress coalition government without any delay, dissolve the Assembly and promulgate Governor Rule in the interest of rule of law, democracy and for the return of peace.
Addressing a press conference here today, Chairman JKNPP, Prof Bhim Singh accused the National Conference leaders for exploiting the communal feelings of the innocent Kashmiris on one pretext or the other.
He said the NC Chief Minister challenged State integration with the rest of the country on the floor of the Assembly and Delhi kept quiet. It was the Chief Minister who prompted introduction of amendment in the Constitution of J&K to scrap Section 3 of J&K Constitution to bring J&K out of the list of the Union.
It was the Chief Minister and the President of NC who manage that a resolution on the floor of the Assembly with an intension to create a communal divide in J&K while challenging the final verdict of Apex Court of India. The Assembly had no competence or jurisdiction to discuss a resolution on a matter pending before the President of India for consideration. This resolution amounted to violation of Rule 180 of the Conduct of the Business of the House in J&K.
A delegation of the Legislators of the Panthers Party met Governor, NN Vohra today seeking his immediate intervention to end the present corrupt, communal and anti-national government headed by NC.
Prof Bhim Singh also urged the Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh, to sack Dr. Farooq Abdullah from his government who has started playing the same game against the national interest by inciting people against the Union of India which he started in 1989 as a Chief Minister.
Prof. Bhim Singh demanded fresh elections free and fair under the direction supervision of the Election Commission of India and independent observers so that the people of J&K may elect the representatives of their choice.
