| Ist Christmas Gold Cup Football Tournament starts from today | | |

All J&K Christian Welfare Association will organize Ist Christmas Gold Cup Football Tournament at Mini Stadium Parade Ground from December 7th.
Speaking here today in a press conference, S.M. Gill (Ex-MLC) state president of the association announced that top teams from J&K State and two prominent teams from Punjab, RCF Kapurthala and JCT Academy Phagwara will be participating in the tournament. He also announced that four teams from State and two guest teams will get walkover direct into quarterfinals. The teams from state are Jammu Sports, Vijay Star, Young Club and Young Heroes. Sixteen Teams will be participating in the tournament and final match will be live telecast on DD Sports on 17th of December.
The opening ceremony of the tournament is being held on 7th of December at 2:30 pm and Babu Singh, Minister for Youth Services and Sports will be the chief guest on the occasion.
Others who spoke on the occasion were R.K. Sharma, Shiv Paul, Ashok Sharma, David, Yousaf Khan and Malik.
The tournament will organize under the auspicious of J&K Football Association.
