No Kashmiri crossed to other side, 27 PoK guests arrives in Kashmir | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Srinagar, Sep 29 : Not a single Kashmiri crossed over to the other side of the Line of Control (LoC), while 27 fresh guests from Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) arrived here today in the Karvan-e- Aman bus, operating between Srinagar and Muzaffarabad.
However, 16 residents of PoK, who had come here in the previous buses, also returned to their homes after completing stay with their relatives in Kashmir.
Official sources told UNI that no Kashmiri crossed over to other side today.
This is the tenth time that no Kashmiri crossed over to PoK in the weekly bus in 2011.
They said 27 fresh guests from POK, including eight women and five children, arrived at Kaman post, the last Indian military post on LoC in Uri sector after crossing the Aman Setu( peace bridge) on foot this afternoon.
The service was started on April 7, 2005 when Prime Minister Manmohan Singh flagged off the first bus after India and Pakistan agree to allow families divided in 1947 to meet each other on permits instead of International passports.
