| HM OGW apprehended, cache recovered from Poonch, Doda | | | JAMMU DEC-06 The Army today apprehended a known Over Ground Worker involved in passing information about the movement of the forces to HM ultras from Parshola in Doda district while a hideout was busted at Nalian in Poonch district. A Defence spokesman said that based on own information the column apprehended a known OGW identified as Ghulam Rashool Ahkli son of Abdul Lateef of Parshola 3 KM North East of Prem Nagar in Doda district and handed him over to Police for questioning. The spokesman said that the OGW had recently passed on the information of the movement of the column to HM terrorists thereby helping their escape during an operation on December 3 last in the area. The spokesman said that based on information of own source the troops launched a search operation at Nalian Forest 10 Km South-East of Poonch at wee hours today and recovered a cache kept under a boulder in natural cave type hideout. During search, the troops recovered 77 rounds of AK ammunition, four rounds of Pika ammunition, four Chinese hand grenades, one IED switch, one AK bayonet and one RS ICOM. In another search operation the forces recovered 50 gelatin sticks each of 125 gms concealed in a gunny bag and hidden behind a rock in Dushnan forest in Doda district. Further search operation was in progress when the reports last came in.
