JKPSC duly displayed CCE-2010 results on website: Rather | | | Early Times Report SRINAGAR, Sep 29: Replying to a question on behalf of Chief Minister, raised by Ajay Sadhotra in the Legislative Council, Minster for Finance Abdul Rahim Rather said that result of Combined Competitive (Preliminary) Examination, 2010 and main Examination, 2010 was duly displayed by the J&K Public Service Commission on its official website. He said that combined competitive (preliminary) Examination, 2011 was held on September 25, 2011, while main examination shall be conducted only after notification of the result of the preliminary examination. He said that the results of the said examinations shall also be put on the website of the commission. He informed the House, that various steps have already been taken to enhance transparency in the working of PSC which include compulsory screening for all selections where the number of candidates is relatively large, exemptions granted earlier to the candidates possessing higher qualification, from appearing in the screening tests have been waived off. He said that this has expedited selection process and also minimized the number of litigations. Minister said that besides, sealing of marks awarded in the interview on day to day basis or at the time of conclusion of the interview, marks awarded in the interview have been reduced as a parameter of weight- age to introduce more competitiveness in selections, system of multiple boards with two experts for important service has been introduced. He said that information pertaining to posts advertised, interview schedule and selections made is not only posted on website of commission but publicized through print media.
