| JMC demolishes unauthorized constructions | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Sep 29: Jammu Municipal Corporation today demolished unauthorized construction at various places across the city.
An official handout maintained that acting on the instructions of Commissioner, Municipal Corporation Jammu S.C Sawhney; a JMC team led by Chief Enforcement Officer alongwith police conducted a drive against unauthorized constructions / removal the encroachment. The team demolished the unauthorized construction of two shops which were being raised without permission at Sector D Sainik Colony, Jammu.
They demolished the ramp raised by Rattan Singh by encroaching upon public lane at Bhagwati Nagar, Jammu and also removed the structure raised by advertisement company by encroaching upon part of lane at A/D Block Gandhi Nagar, Jammu.
Besides this the team also removed two mini trucks load of banners, signboards, hoarding erected by different firms / agencies upon public places without permission at Trikuta Nagar, Jammu. Jammu Municipal Corporation once again appealed public to refrain from making encroachments and raising unauthorized constructions in violation of land use.
