| Trikuta Degree College organizes ‘Hindi Pakhwada’ activities | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Sep 29: In continuation with ‘Hindi Pakhwada’ activities, Trikuta Degree College organized ‘Hindi Saptah’ under the able guidance of Sunita Magotra to infuse interest in the youth for Hindi.
During the week long programme, various competitions for promotion of Hindi language like Rangoli, Kahani Kathan and Desh-bhakti Geet were organized in which all the students participated with full fervor and enthusiasm. On the concluding day, Kavita Paath Pratiyogita was organized in which various Colleges of Jammu participated.
The week long programme was managed by Deepika Singh from Trikuta Degree College. On the occasion Dr. Rooplal Sharma inaugurated the function by lighting the lamp. He further highlighted aim of organizing the Hindi Saptah and encouraged students to actively participate in such programmes. Among others present were Suman Sharma, Chairperson, and Dr. Gayatri Gupta, Principal, Trikuta Degree College.
Kavita Paath Pratiyogita was judged by Prof. Bala Thakur, a national awardee, Prof. Jaspal Singh and Prof. Anju Thapa from Distance Education, University of Jammu. Shivani from Parade College was adjudged the winner while Poornima from TCCS and Suman Dogra from Trikuta Degree College received runner up prizes. Dr. Gayatri Gupta, Principal, Trikuta Degree College congratulated the students and the staff for the successful completion of the ‘Hindi Saptah’ and presented the vote of thanks.
