| Village deputation meets DC Kathua | | | Early Times Report
KATHUA, Sept 29: A deputation of the villagers of village Badala, Chack Gadhadar, and Jakhabar met Deputy Commissioner Kathua Zahida Khan demanding completion of construction work of vented causeway on bay 1sahar khad near Changran.
Deputation was led by the Sarpanch Jash Paul Raina, Naib Sarpanch Rajinder Singh of Panchyat Badala, Ajay Sharma. They informed Khan that the vented causeway is very essential and important for the people. They said that PWD department has allotted work to government contractor.
They maintained that government contractor is now intending to wind up and leave the work. They said that people of Andhad are suffering and demanding the early action from the government and administration for the completion of the said work. Meanwhile, DC Kathua assured the villagers to take action over the matter within a week.
