| Kissan Credit card disbursement function organized | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, September 29: In its drive to expand Agriculture credit portfolio in the state, Punjab National Bank under the able guidance of Ashok Gupta, Deputy General Manager, Circle Head today organized Kissan Credit Card disbursement function at Dak Bunglow BHADERWAH.
The function was inaugurated by Farooq Khan, District Development Commissioner Doda who distributed 50 KCC among the farmers.
Speaking at the function Khan appreciated the role of PNB in reaching out to the people and farmer community in particular in rural and far flung areas. He urged the farmers to avail the maximum benefits of the KCC scheme so that their economic conditions can improve.
S L Raina, Senior Manager Bhaderwah branch informed that Kissan Credit Card has provided to be an ideal tool for expansion of Agricultural Credit especially Crop Loans in the length and breadth of the state.
The camp was organized in coordination with Agriculture Department Bhaderwah.
Anil Gupta, Chief Manager, PNB MICR, Jammu, Anil Sharma, officer Bhaderwah Branch, Manoj Kumar, Agriculture Officer PNB, Yog Raj Koul of Agriculture Dept., Chief Horticulture Officer Doda, Chief Planning Officer Doda and large number of farmers participated in the function.
