| YAC organises seminar on role of youth | | |  EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Sep 29:Youth Against Corruption Jammu Kashmir chapter organized a seminar on the topic "Present National Scenario and Role of Youth" at University of Jammu. The seminar was attended by academicians, scholars, professions, students and large number of youth drawn from colleges and University of Jammu.
The seminar was chaired by Sunil Ambedkar (National Organizing Secy. ABVP) and Prof. Verinder Koundal (State President ABVP).
YAC was represented by Sanjay Verma (J&K State Co-commoner YAC). The programme started with the lighting of traditional lamp and welcome address by Arnan Balli (J.U President ABVP) in which he thrum light on the current national problems being faced by the youth. Verender Koundal introduced the cause and target of to day's seminar in the light of emerging trend in corruption in State of Jammu and Kashmir and national level. He laid stress on the genesis of corruption in the aftermath of Independence and its slow growth although the years starting from few crores in earlier days to lakhs of crores in 2010-11. He appreciated the role of YAC in organizing seminars, debates, dhranas and demonstrations to educate and organize the youth in right direction.
Sunil Ambedkar in his keynote address welcome the youth in the field of YAC to free the nation from the menace of corruption. He highlighted the achievements of Y AC in uniting various, social, youth and student organizations in this 'common fight against corruption.
