Home guards continue Dharna

JAMMU, Sept 29: All J&K Home Guards Welfare Association’s continued its dharna in front of Press Club Jammu on the 4th consecutive day today.
It is to mention that dharna was started against the total dejection of homeguards demands by the government.

The protesting homeguards alleged that NC, PDP and others showing sympathy with Afzal Guru but ignored those who are performing their duty with zeal and enthusiasm are being ignored.

They urged upon the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah to immediately take up a concrete step so that fate of homeguards doesn’t remain hanged in dole-drums.

Among others who were sat on dharna included Bimla, Sakeena, Usha, Shakuntla, Babli, Tarsem, Krishan, Naresh, Rakesh, amit Singh, Om Parkash, Sohan Lal, Prem, Swarn Singh, Iqbal, Ghulam Qadir, Mohd Ameen, Imtiaz, Ghulam Hussaikn, Dr Nayeem Rehman, Umar Farooq and others.
