Semifinals line-up drawn in boys’ U-19 Kho-Kho

JAMMU, Sept 30: Semifinals position has been cleared in the ongoing inter-district divisional level boys’ under-19 kho-kho tournament, organised by the Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS) at Youth Hostel Nagrota, near here today.
Besides a bad start yesterday, host Jammu district today qualified for the last four stages along with Kishtwar, Udhampur and Samba districts.
Now, in the semi-finals, to be played tomorrow, Jammu shall take on district Samba while Udhampur shall lock horns against district Kishtwar.
Earlier, district Udhampur and Samba remained unbeaten in the league round while Samba and Jammu lost one match each.
Today’s matches were officiated by Rakesh Kakkar, Rajesh Sambyal, Kulbir Singh, Balwan Singh and Rattan Lal Sharma.
The Detailed Results: (League Round): Jammu bt Rajouri 7-03; Kishtwar bt Poonch by one turn and 10 points; Samba bt Doda by one turn and one point; Kathua bt Poonch by 05-04; Udhampur bt Rajouri 08-07; Samba bt Kishtwar 04-02; Jammu bt Ramban 13-03; Doda bt Kathua 09-08.
