| Inter-college table tennis tourney from Oct 10 | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT

JAMMU, Sept 30: Being organised under the banner of Department of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu, the annual inter-college (men and women) table tennis competitions shall take place at GGM Science College here from October 10.
The five-day event shall conclude with the holding of finals in both the categories on October 14.
While in men’s section, 26 affiliated colleges have confirmed their entries, the women’s event has attracted only 19 teams from as many colleges.
Last year the women’s title was won by Acharya Shri Chandra College of Medical Sciences (ASCOMS) beating Government College for Women Gandhi Nagar.
Whereas in men’s section, the combined side of Post Graduate (PG) Departments of JU defeated ASCOMS to win the trophy.
