| State tug of war team leaves for nationals | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Sept 30: Under the banner of Jammu and Kashmir Tug-of-War Association, a 11-member state team, including two officials, today left for the participation in 24th Junior Men National Championship to be held at Jawahar Lal Nehru Stadium, Chennai in Tamil Nadu from October two.
Before their departure the team called on Association president, Hardeep Singh Anand, who wished the boys success in the competition. Among others present were vice-president, Kuldeep Gupta, general secretary, Ravinder Singh Sasan, Jodh Singh Isher and Jasbir Singh as also Ajay Peshin and Navneet Singh.
Earlier, 25 selected probable underwent a five-day coaching camp held at Unique Public Higher Secondary School Gadigarh. The team is being accompanied by Narinder and Narinder Singh as coach and manager respectively.
The Team: Harjinder Singh, Sadarat Hussain, Purupkar Singh, Sachin Jaryal, Parvinder Singh, Amarjot Singh, Maninder, Faisal Manzoor and Amir Muzaffar.
