| JKNPP set up Billawar political district | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Sep 30:Jammu Kashmir National Panthers Party has announced to set up Billawar
political district in a meeting of Kathua District Panthers Council
held today at Kathua.
The committee unanimously adopted a resolution to set up Billawar
political district comprising Billawar, Basohli and Bani Tehsils in
the hill region of the District.
Jagdev Singh Mian, Sarpanch was appointed as its first President with
Ravinder Billowria as General Secretary and Balvinder Jamwal as Senior
Vice President. In the meanwhile, Chairman, Prof. Bhim Singh appointed
Jagdev Khajuria, former District President, Kathua as President of
Punargathan Campaign Committee of Kathua.
The special council meeting was attended by HC Jalmeria, Advocate
General Secretary-JKNPP, Provincial Vice President, Raghubir Bileoria,
State Secretary, Rajinder Manju and R.S Dogra, Former District
President.
Atul Andotra, Advocate was appointed as District Organizer, Young
Panthers. The District Council Meeting was presided by District
President Ravinder Pathania.
Addressing the District Council, Prof. Bhim Singh called on the
Panthers Party workers to get ready for final battle against
corruption, communalism, criminalization in which Panthers Party has a
lead role in J&K in particular and country in general. He gave a call
to the youth and students to take up the banners of Parivartan i.e.
Punargathan in J&K so that all the three regions shall have separate
Assemblies, separate Budgets, separate recruitments so that every
citizen lives with honour and dignity. He urged on Governor NN Vohra
to dissolve the Assembly without delay so that free and fair elections
shall be held in J&K to get rid off corrupt, authoritarian, communal
and anti-national government in J&K.
